Russia pays twice the domestic price for petrol imported from India
Russia has been importing petrol from India since July to cover domestic shortages, but the fuel costs twice the price of Russian-produced petrol. The irony is that India refines it largely from Russian crude. The refinery that sold the petrol to Russia is 49% owned by Russian state company Rosneft.
