Met Police accidentally exposed email addresses of 143 Mohamed Al Fayed victims

The Metropolitan Police has apologised after accidentally exposing the email addresses of 143 victims of Mohamed Al Fayed due to a human error. In a group update about the investigation into the former Harrods owner, officers copied all 143 victims' addresses into a message visible to around 12 other recipients. The force says it is conducting an internal investigation into the incident.
