Fake Australian firm at centre of FBI probe into alleged Chinese espionage — 13 websites seized

The US Department of Justice has seized 13 websites linked to a fake consultancy impersonating a small Brisbane firm called Horizzen as part of an FBI probe into alleged Chinese espionage. From mid-2025, Horizzen began receiving emails and calls from strangers boasting defence and security credentials and applying for vague US-based jobs. The fake online presence is one of several fronts under investigation in the case.
