Poland's Education Ministry proposes changes to starting teachers' pay rules

Poland's Ministry of Education is proposing to change how starting teachers' salaries are linked to the base pay amount. Under the current system, entry-level teachers do not automatically receive the same percentage pay rises as those at higher career stages. The new draft aims to close this gap and bring greater pay equity across teaching grades.
