13 dead as Polish pilgrim coach overturns in Hungary — passengers from Podkarpacie region
A coach carrying 57 Polish pilgrims returning from Medjugorje overturned near Mezőkeresztes in northern Hungary at around 1am on Sunday, on the M3 motorway at kilometre 139. Thirteen people were killed and nine others were seriously injured, taken to hospitals in Eger and Miskolc. The group had departed from Strzyżów in the Podkarpacie region; the injured are expected to be transferred to facilities closer to home.
