Study: remote work boosts productivity and well-being without weakening team bonds

A survey of 7,704 employees at a large US healthcare organisation, conducted by the Leeds School of Business and published in Frontiers in Psychology, found fully remote workers reported the highest well-being levels, while fully office-based staff reported the lowest. The study also found no significant evidence that remote workers felt less connected to colleagues or workplace culture, dispelling a common argument against flexible work.
