60-year-old German tourist drowns in the Baltic Sea at Dźwirzyn

Two people got into difficulty in the Baltic Sea at Dźwirzyn, triggering a large rescue operation involving sea rescuers, WOPR lifeguards, firefighters, police and an air ambulance crew. Both were pulled from the water, but despite prolonged resuscitation efforts, a German tourist aged around 60 did not survive. The second person rescued from the water survived.
