Polish firms face timber shortage as industry blames new State Forests rules

The Coalition for Polish Timber has raised the alarm that new technical rules applied by State Forests since the start of the year are reducing the availability of raw material. The timber and furniture industries are bearing the brunt of the shortages. Sector companies are calling for a revision of the current regulations.
