Belgium's biggest fire in over a century: 3,000 ha of nature reserve ablaze

A wildfire has burned approximately 3,000 hectares of the High Fens nature reserve in Belgium — the country's largest fire in over a century. The blaze has approached the German border, where residents of two streets in Monschau were evacuated. Hundreds of firefighters supported by aircraft and helicopters are battling the flames.
