USS Benfold suffers major breakdown in South China Sea — no AC, no galley, no toilets

US Navy destroyer USS Benfold suffered a serious breakdown in the South China Sea in July, CNN reports. The malfunction knocked out the ship's air conditioning, galley and toilets. The vessel is part of the carrier strike group led by USS George Washington, which was set to relieve USS Abraham Lincoln in the Middle East.
