Virgin seeks up to 20 daily Channel Tunnel rail services

Virgin has taken steps towards running its own rail services through the Channel Tunnel, aiming for up to 20 daily journeys to Europe. The firm still needs to secure additional approval for operating on overseas tracks. The move would represent the first serious challenge to Eurostar's dominance on the route.
