Polish consumer watchdog investigates Lidl and Biedronka over low butter prices
In May, the KZRSS "Społem" cooperative union filed a complaint with Poland's consumer watchdog UOKiK against Lidl and Biedronka, accusing them of selling butter at excessively low prices to the detriment of competition. Czech retailers and producers also raised objections over the low butter prices in Polish shops. UOKiK examined the matter, though it has not yet disclosed the conclusions of its review.
