Virgin Trains approved to run up to 20 daily return services to Paris and Brussels from 2030
The UK rail regulator ORR has granted track access to Richard Branson's Virgin Trains to operate up to 20 daily return services through the Channel Tunnel to Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam from 2030. The approval is a significant blow to Eurostar's long-held passenger monopoly on the cross-Channel route.
