Ex-intelligence officer: Romanowski may have had access to key documents for safe-conduct talks
Piotr Niemczyk, former deputy head of the State Protection Office's Intelligence Directorate, said in an interview that Marcin Romanowski, as a Ministry of Justice employee, could have accessed investigation documents relevant to safe-conduct negotiations. Niemczyk pointed to "several signals" suggesting Romanowski may have prepared for his current situation in advance. The case involves the fugitive PiS politician who evaded detention in Poland.
