Poland's "right to repair" bill heading to parliament this year
Public consultations on a Polish government bill implementing the EU's "Right to Repair" directive have concluded. The legislation aims to make it easier for consumers to repair household appliances and electronics rather than discarding them. A total of 130 amendments were submitted and have been analysed by the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK). The bill is expected to reach parliament before the end of this year.
