Prof. Kotowska: 30% of men and 37% of women with one child struggle to conceive again

Demographer Prof. Irena Kotowska argues that right-wing proposals to boost birth rates by offering women money and a return to domestic roles fundamentally misunderstand the problem. She points out that 30% of men and 37% of women who already have one child face difficulty conceiving a second. Financial incentives and social pressure cannot overcome medical and structural barriers to parenthood. The issue requires a far more comprehensive approach than the right wing proposes.
