Temple stampede and hotel fire in eastern India kill 14

Seven devotees were killed and more than a dozen injured in a stampede at a Hindu temple in Bihar state, eastern India. A hotel fire in the same region claimed additional lives, bringing the combined death toll to 14. Emergency services are assisting the injured from both incidents.
