Truffles in Poland cost up to 1,500 PLN per kg — where to find them

Truffles, best known from Italian markets and French haute cuisine, can also be found in Poland. The most valuable specimens grow underground, making accidental discovery during a typical mushroom-picking trip extremely rare. A kilogram of Polish truffles can cost up to 1,500 PLN.
