PKO BP customer loses 80,000 zloty to scammers impersonating bank staff – bank says rules were followed

A PKO BP customer was defrauded out of 80,000 zloty in a single day after scammers impersonated bank employees and public institution officials. Under their influence, she took out a loan, opened a new account and withdrew the cash. PKO BP insists its branch staff followed all correct procedures and denies responsibility for the loss.
