Nawrocki mislabelled Monte Cassino soldiers — Tomczyk recalls his past attack on Nowacka for same error

President Karol Nawrocki made an error by referring to Polish soldiers as "defenders of Monte Cassino" — at Monte Cassino it was the Poles who were the attackers, not the defenders. Deputy Defence Minister Cezary Tomczyk, while defending Nawrocki, noted that the president had previously sharply criticised Minister Barbara Nowacka for a similar mistake. Tomczyk commented on TVN24, saying Nawrocki "behaved simply like a coward attacking women."
