Proposal to redirect children's ZUS contributions to parents' pensions raises concerns

A proposal is being considered to redirect part of adult children's ZUS social-security contributions to their parents' pension accounts, as an incentive to have more children. However, Dr Tomasz Lasocki warns that such a mechanism would not reverse demographic trends and could create new problems, including family conflicts and inequalities in the pension system.
