Sony's PS Store shovelware purge catches legitimate indie developer in crossfire

Sony has been purging shovelware from the PlayStation Store, removing entire publisher catalogues. The cleanup has now apparently caught a legitimate indie developer: the maker of Stonks-9800 had their game removed despite it being considered a genuine indie title rather than low-effort filler. Industry observers had previously warned that innocent developers could get caught in the crossfire.
