Duplantis wins fourth European Championship gold in pole vault

Armand Duplantis claimed his fourth European Championship gold in the pole vault in Birmingham, in a compelling duel with Emanuel Karalis. The Greek athlete attempted 6.20m on his final jump but could not clear the bar. Duplantis has been virtually unbeatable in major championship finals, with his only silver coming in Doha seven years ago.
