Polish teachers' union to protest on 31 August, demands 15% pay rise

The Polish Teachers' Union (ZNP) has announced a demonstration on 31 August outside the Prime Minister's Chancellery in Warsaw. Union leader Sławomir Broniarz is demanding that teachers' salaries be linked to the national average wage, with an initial pay rise of at least 15 percent.
