PKO BP fraud alert failure: customer lost 96,000 PLN in a single day

A PKO BP customer took out an 80,000 PLN loan, opened a new account and withdrew cash in a single day — all without triggering any bank alert. The woman, who was a fraud victim, also emptied a second account of 16,000 PLN in savings. Her husband waited 20 minutes on the bank's helpline trying to raise the alarm, without success.
