Gauff fights back to advance in Cincinnati; Stephens causes upset

Coco Gauff struggled in the first set against Ludmila Samsonova in the second round of the WTA 1000 event in Cincinnati, but fought back to win the match and advance. American veteran Sloane Stephens also caused a surprise by defeating a higher-seeded opponent in the same tournament.
