US Air Force seeks AI to centralize aging Minuteman III nuclear missile data

The US Air Force is seeking an AI agent to centralise data from around 60 disparate systems supporting its Minuteman III nuclear missile fleet, which may remain operational far beyond its original retirement schedule — potentially up to 66 or even 80 years of service. The fleet currently requires 400 missiles to be continuously maintained. The initiative falls under the "no fail" national security mission, as system failure could have catastrophic consequences.
