Tusk on Polish Armed Forces Day: only the strong and sovereign avoid war

Prime Minister Donald Tusk spoke in Gdynia on Polish Armed Forces Day, stressing that Poland wants to avoid war, but can only do so by being strong, well-prepared, independent and sovereign. He outlined four pillars of national security: secure borders, alliances, investment in the military, and a growing economy. Tusk emphasised that peace depends on defence readiness.
