Hamas calls on Peace Council to force Israel to accept Gaza peace plan

Hamas has appealed to the US-backed Peace Council to "force" Israel into accepting a peace plan for the Gaza Strip. Five Arab countries, along with Turkey, Pakistan and Indonesia, had already condemned Israel's rejection of Donald Trump's latest peace proposal, which called for Hamas disarmament and Israeli troop withdrawal from Gaza. Israel rejected that plan.
