45 Polish pilgrims killed in road accidents on the route to Medjugorje over 26 years
A total of 45 Polish pilgrims have been killed in road accidents on the route to or from Medjugorje over the past 26 years. Rafał Jańczuk, president of the Polish Coach Carriers Association, says that in most cases the vehicle was not at fault — driver suitability for such demanding routes is the key issue. A special team has been appointed to investigate the problem.
