Islam scholar: in the Quran, Jesus is a prophet — not the crucified Saviour
Prof. Katarzyna Pachniak, an Arabist and Islam scholar from the University of Warsaw, explained that Islam regards Jesus as one of the prophets and that the Quran states he was neither killed nor crucified. Muslims hold Mary in exceptionally high esteem, with an entire Quranic chapter dedicated to her. Pachniak also discussed what drives young Europeans towards jihadist movements.
