Toxic golden algae in Gliwice canal — over 150 kg of dead fish removed

Toxic golden algae have appeared in section VI of the Gliwice Canal, prompting authorities to remove over 150 kg of dead fish. Polish Waters (Wody Polskie) carried out the operation and blocked water flow in sections V and VI to contain the algal bloom.
