Polish 17-year-old drowns in the Baltic Sea at Palanga after strong current sweeps siblings
A 17-year-old Polish boy drowned in the Baltic Sea at Palanga, western Lithuania. He had travelled there with family, and while swimming near the pier, a strong current swept three siblings away. Palanga mayor Šarūnas Vaitkus confirmed the death and expressed condolences to the bereaved family.
