Rangers, Hearts and Hibs through in League Cup as Stenhousemuir shock Motherwell

Derek McInnes earned his first win as Rangers manager with a dominant 5-1 victory over holders St Mirren, advancing to the quarter-finals of the Scottish League Cup. Hearts and Hibs also progressed to the next round. The big upset was Stenhousemuir's elimination of Motherwell.
