New US Attorney General refuses to pledge independence from the White House
Todd Blanche assured that Donald Trump does not want "yes men," but the new US Attorney General refused to pledge to act independently from the White House. Blanche also confirmed that efforts to compel states to hand over voter rolls will continue. He insisted, however, that Trump does not personally direct individual prosecutions.
