FC Barcelona beat FC Basel 5-2 in a pre-Gamper Cup friendly on Sunday. Debutant Jesse Bisiwu stole the show with two goals, overshadowing Lamine Yamal. New signing Gordon scored his first goal for the club after being fielded from the start by coach Hansi Flick. Wojciech Szczęsny could do nothing to stop one of Basel's goals.
