17-year-old Polish tourist drowns in Baltic Sea near Palanga, Lithuania
A 17-year-old Polish tourist drowned on Saturday evening near a pier in the Baltic resort of Palanga, western Lithuania. The boy was swept away by a strong current while swimming with his siblings. His younger sister was pulled out by their father, and his younger brother, who managed to grab onto a pier support, was rescued by emergency services. Divers found the teenager's body close to where he disappeared.
