Widow's pension to rise from 2027 — ZUS will pay 25% of the second benefit
From 1 January 2027, ZUS will raise the widow's pension supplement from 15% to 25% of the second benefit. The change is the next stage of a reform that took effect in July 2025. The increase applies to widows and widowers receiving both benefits simultaneously, with monthly gains potentially reaching several hundred zlotys.
