Polish actor Marek Frąckowiak dies after years-long battle with cancer

Marek Frąckowiak, a prominent Polish film and television actor also known for his distinctive voice, has died after battling cancer first diagnosed in 2013. His wife learned of his death by phone at 8 a.m. He would have turned 76 on August 16.
