California bill would require disclosure of toxic chemicals in disposable diapers

New California legislation passed the state assembly and is heading to the state senate, which would require diaper manufacturers to disclose the chemicals in their products. Disposable diapers can contain phthalates, lead, PFAS, arsenic, volatile organic compounds and "fragrance" — a category that may include up to 1,200 compounds considered hazardous to human health.
