Bus carrying Polish pilgrims overturns in Hungary, killing 12

A bus carrying Polish pilgrims returning from Bosnia and Herzegovina overturned on the M3 motorway in Hungary near Mezőkeresztes at around 1am local time, killing 12 people and leaving 10 in serious condition. Local police said the vehicle veered off the road into a ditch. The driver survived and was taken into custody; early reports suggest he had probably fallen asleep.
