US cavalry brigade to receive new tank and IFV prototypes this year

The 1st Armored Brigade of the US Army's 1st Cavalry Division is set to receive a batch of prototypes of a new main battle tank and new infantry fighting vehicles this year. The brigade will also begin testing both vehicle types as part of the US military's armoured forces modernisation programme.
