Historic St. Nicholas church burns down at Sanok open-air museum — only wooden cross survives
The historic St. Nicholas church at the Museum of Folk Architecture in Sanok burned down overnight, destroying the entire structure including its antique organs, altars and sacred art. Only a wooden cross survived the fire. Museum director Marcin Krowiak, who was married in the church, described it as the institution's "jewel."
