Złotów aims for spa-town status after discovering peat and brine waters

Złotów, a town around 130 km from Poznań, has been pursuing spa-town status for several years. Geological drilling funded by Norwegian grants confirmed the presence of therapeutic peat and brine waters. Research by the Polish Academy of Sciences also confirmed favourable microclimatic conditions, and brine graduation towers have already been built by Lake Baba.
