Meblomet factory in Mszana Dolna closes after 70 years, 50 workers lose jobs

Meblomet, a factory in Mszana Dolna that spent 70 years making outdoor gym equipment, bicycle racks and hospital furniture, is closing down, leaving all 50 employees unemployed. Just a few years ago IKEA was the plant's biggest client. "It is getting harder and harder to run a business in this country. We lost the fight to survive," said liquidator Wiesław Wojcieszak.
