US fields over 100 air-defence gun-missile systems capable of defeating small drones

The United States has announced modifications to its new gun-missile air-defence systems that enable them to effectively neutralise small unmanned aerial vehicles. More than 100 of these systems are now in service. The upgrade expands US short-range air-defence capabilities against drone threats.
