Historic church at Sanok Open-Air Museum burns down — only a wooden cross survived
The church of St. Nicholas at the Open-Air Museum of Folk Architecture in Sanok burned down overnight, destroying the historic building along with its antique organs, altars and sacred artworks. Only a wooden cross survived the fire. Museum director Marcin Krowiak, who was married in the church, described it as one of the museum's greatest treasures.
