Personal Investment Accounts could channel over PLN 23 bn to the stock market

Poles are saving more than ever, but most of their money still sits in cash or bank deposits. A new instrument — the Personal Investment Account (OKI) — is designed to encourage Poles to invest part of their savings on the capital market. Analysts estimate the scheme could channel over PLN 23 billion to the stock exchange.
