800 Plus for adult children: who qualifies for the benefit?

The 800 Plus child benefit in Poland is paid only until a child turns 18 — payments stop automatically at adulthood, regardless of whether the child is still in education. Parents often mistakenly assume the benefit continues throughout their child's studies. The programme does not cover the costs of supporting a school-leaving or university student.
