Poland to spend 1 billion PLN installing smart electricity meters by 2031

Poland's National Fund for Environmental Protection (NFOŚiGW) will finance the installation of smart energy meters in millions of Polish homes and businesses. Signed contracts are already worth around one billion zloty. All electricity consumers in Poland are to receive new meters by July 2031.
